Competitor Tinder — Hinge announced their plans to abandon entrenched culture of shallow friendships.
Now this app will be paid and designed for those who are looking for a serious relationship.
The Hinge startup was founded in new York in 2011. He received about $ 20 million in investment. So far, his app has been a lot like Tinder. Users could “like” someone who seemed attractive to them by swiping their finger across the screen. From a competitor, it was different only in that it could not meet with strangers, and with those who have common friends on Facebook.
The new Hinge will be affordable, but not free — its price will be $ 7 per month. It will not “likes”, but “impressions”, provoking a deep conversation.
