SnoopSnitch app makes a map of attacks on smartphones. German cryptologist Karsten Zero has released a free app SnoopSnitch, which will help mobile phone users to protect themselves from serious hacker threats.
The new application should protect the user from attacks using fake base stations, over-the-air, from attempts to track the mobile phone. To do this, the SOFTWARE uses the information received from users. Accordingly, those who install the application are also asked to take part in the replenishment of the database. The developer warns that the information is stored on servers in encrypted form.
As a result, the open-source software SnoopSnitch collects the sent data and analyzes it, noting suspicious activity on the map.
