Blizzard will release Warcraft for Android next year

During a conference call, Activision Blizzard announced plans to release mobile Warcraft games in 2022.

Chinese users report that next year one or more games based on the Warcraft universe will be released on smartphones. They refer to a conference call held by Blizzard on November 3rd.

Here’s what an Activision Blizzard spokesman said:

«Our team is working on a lot of content around Warcraft. Next year, we will expand the possibilities of modern and classic World of Warcraft, bring innovation to Hearthstone and for the first time allow mobile gamers to plunge into the Warcraft universe. We look forward to sharing the details.»

It is not yet possible to say whether it will be an MMO or match-three. These projects are being tested internally at Blizzard, as was the case with Diablo Immortal.
